Manage the Schedules of Multiple Resources

Outlook lets you display resource calendars side-by side but activities soon disappear when more than a few calendars are opened. Schemax Calendar removes the clutter and lets you see information.

Schemax Calendar works seamlessly inside Outlook. It doesn't remove any of Outlook's functionality or change the way information is stored in Outlook or Exchange®.

When you create or edit activities with Schemax Calendar it works just the same as if you were using Outlook's calendar.

Forecast Resource Activity

Transform your calendars into bar charts to forecast resource activity levels over time.

You can chose separate bar charts for each resource or combine them to show activity levels of a group of resources.

If you use Microsoft Project® you can add assignments to resource's calendars in Outlook. Schemax Calendar is ideal for analyzing both project-related and operational activities.

Calendar Overlays

When you overlay calendars you can easily see opportunities to coordinate resource schedules and find common times for activities. You can click and drag to book meetings in this view.

As you move the mouse over the display darker areas indicate periods when a higher number of resources are busy. The color of resource labels changes to indicate which ones are are busy and what they will be doing.

Schemax Calendar even lets you define the capacity of meeting rooms and filters out meeting rooms that are too small for the number of resources you want to attend.

Group and Filter Activities

Schemax Calendar lets you aggregate activities by combining bar chart in a single view.

You can fill the bar chart using Outlook's free/busy colors, category colors or resource colors.

The vertical scale indicates the percentage of the day (either working day or 24 hour day) that the group is busy. As with all of Schemax Calendar views you can show or hide non-working hours.

View up to 12 Months in Single Screen

For users that need to view calendars over longer time periods, Schemax Calendar lets you view up to 12 months of activities in a single screen.

As you move the mouse pointer over the calendar display, tool tips appear with details of each appointment.

Zoom and Pan

With Schemax Calendar you can zoom and pan the display to areas of interest.

As you zoom in the time axis dynamically adjusts and labels appear on the appointments themselves.

As you navigate the display a reference calendar indicates the extent of the main display with a light blue rectangle.

Single Resource View

For single resources Schemax Calendar displays activities on two linked time scales.
