The following instructions describe the creation of an administrative administrative installation point for Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Second Edition. They are part of the Installation Instructions (Remote Deployment) for Schemax Calendar 2.0. The following steps describe the user interface that guides you through the creation of the administrative installation point.
1. Run the following command-line instruction
{path}\vstor.exe /c:"msiexec.exe /a"
where {path} is the path to the downloaded file. Click Ok.
2. If a security warning appears click Run.
3. Click Next.
4. Accept the terms of the Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Second Edition license agreement and click Next.
5. Enter a path where you want to create the administrative installation point. Click Install.
6. A progress bar will appear.
7. Once the administrative installation point has been created a confirmation window will appear. Click Finish.
8. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the administrative installation point. Note the presence of the vsto.msi installation package.
